Comfortis
Comfortis is a new oral, once a month flea control product for dogs four months of age and older. Once administered, Comfortis begins killing fleas within 30 minutes and is 100 % effective within 4 hours. Feeding fleas will die quickly. Since Comfortis is given orally, bathing your dog has no effect on efficacy. In contrast to topical products, there is no oil spot on "Fido's" back. We have been prescribing Comfortis since June 2008 and have seen excellent results. The cost of Comfortis is similar to the topical products Frontline and Advantage.
