Boarding

We provide a safe caring environment for your pets to stay while you are away from your home.  All guests receive individual attention by our trained staff. Dogs are walked three times daily. Cats are kept in our cat ward to maximize the distance from barking dogs. The attendants will provide treats to the guests. Dog food-stuffed kong toys are a favorite among our regular boarders.

We provide towels and blankets for bedding.  Dogs staying in runs also have raised beds.  Please don't bring your own linens or beds.  They invariably get dirty, then get mixed in with all of the laundry. This makes it impossible to keep track of each individual's personal items.  You are welcome to bring a toy or treat, but please be understanding if the item gets misplaced and is unavailable when you pick up your pet.

We feed quality Eukanuba brand food.  If your pet has special diet needs or doesn't handle diet changes well, bring his or her food with feeding instructions. If your  pet is receiving medications or medical treatments, our nursing staff can administer any needed care.  Please bring the medications and written inst ructions with you upon admission.
Our attendants, who monitor guest's appetite, urine and feces output, and overall condition maintain daily boarding sheets to document these specifics.  Any unusual changes are reported to the technicians or doctors.

If you would like your dog to socialize with other dog guests during a playtime, please alert the receptionist.  Your dog must be friendly with other dogs.  There is an additional charge for playtime.

Pre-check-out baths are recommended for any dogs boarding over 2 days. A complimentary bath will be given to all dogs thatstay 7 days or longer. This is a quick cleanup bath and does not include anal gland expression or toenail trimming.  If you want your pet bathed prior to your picking them up, please tell our receptionists when you check in.  If they are to receive a bath, they will not be ready to go home until the mid-to-later afternoon on the day you plan to pick them up.

Aggressive pets may not be allowed to stay with us.  If your pet is found to be aggressive toward staff members or other animals, we will attempt to contact you for alternative arrangements.  If no other alternative can be found, there will be an additional fee assessed to compensate for the added time and risk involved with their stay. Some animals may become excessively stressed during their stay.  Stress is often   manifested by persistent cowering, barking, diarrhea, or fearful biting.  If the stress is deemed excessive, our veterinarians may suggest a gentle sedative to reduce anxiety.  This can really make the pet's stay more enjoyable.  We will attempt to reach you prior to administering any sedatives.

During your pet's stay, should a medical condition arise, a staff veterinarian will be alerted, an exam will be done, and treatment  initiated immediately if indicated.

You may pick up your pet during regular business hours only.  If you pick up prior to noon, you will not be charged for that day. If you pick up between noon and closing time, you will be charged for 1/2 day.
